We have recently employed a new graduate engineer, Christopher Morris. A 2022 graduate of University of Strathclyde, Christopher studied electronic and electrical engineering. His final year project centred around ‘Decarbonising Scotland’s Passenger Rail service’, looking at the use of hydrogen trains and renewable power sources to create a low carbon fuel source.
Christopher will be working across the business, supporting all the departments. Currently he is working with the project engineering team, providing project management support for the delivery of M&E and Telecoms projects. He’s also working closely with Project Manager Mark McGlinchey on up-and-coming tenders.
Managing Director Derek Riddell said, “We are delighted to have Christopher as part of the Forte Engineering team. He brings a fresh perspective to the business and is eager to get involved in many elements of what we do. Our business is growing rapidly, so it is great to have more young people join our team, bringing new and modern ideas.”
