We offer a wide range of design services from feasibility studies to detail design including construction support and as built drawings: ​

Feasibility & Option Selection: We will undertake initial feasibility studies and compile optioneering reports based on any available records, survey results and client remit. We will identify technically and commercially feasible options to achieve the desired outcome and present an objective assessment of these with weighted scoring of each option in categories including cost, complexity and environmental impact.​

Outline and Detail Design: We will lead the development of electrical and mechanical services design including Form A/B and Form 001/002/003 design specifications, site layout plans, power and control schematics and fabrication drawings, designer’s risk assessments, design decisions logs and bills of quantities. We will chair IDC meetings to coordinate our design activities with other disciplines and stakeholders. ​

Electrical Design: We will carry out all cable calculations and protection studies in industry standard software to BS7671:2018 +A1:2020. These will be exported to current model forms to generate and pre-populate electrical installation certificates. ​

Lighting Design: We will prepare all lux level models in industry standard software to the requirements of current Network Rail, Rail Group, British and International Standards with respect to minimum lux levels, uniformity, diversity, glare and light pollution in addition to any local environmental or planning requirements. ​

Signalling Power Design: We will model all 650V signalling power feeders and earth fault modelling in industry standard software to the requirements of current Network Rail and Rail Group standards. ​

Lighting Protection: We will complete all lighting protection risk assessment in industry standard software to the requirements of BS EN 62305. ​

Design Reviews: We will provide an independent technical review of design deliverables to identify errors, non-compliances and value engineering opportunities.​

All design deliverables will be prepared in accordance with BS7671 18th Edition and current Network Rail, Rail Group, British and International Standards. ​
